LEGO Fan Wimbledon Champion Barbora Krejcikova Completes Everything About Tennis with LEGO Pieces

Who performed better than Barbora Krejcikova this week? The 28-year-old tennis player won her second Grand Slam singles title with her victory at Wimbledon, making her name again in the top 10 of the WTA, and bought a special set from LEGO to celebrate this success.

In a post shared on social media on Wednesday, she showed off her collection of colorful LEGO bricks. Her collection also includes the Venus Rose Water Plate, a striking replica of the women’s singles cup.

“Now I feel even more special with a replica Wimbledon trophy, my own miniature statue and a tennis racket!” she enthusiastically stated on social media. “I am grateful for this wonderful meeting and gifts!”

Among the new items in Krejcikova’s collection are a tennis racket and the legendary trophy, as well as a court missing to play on at the All England Club. The Czech tennis star brought together his followers in LEGO’s Idea Lab this week to launch a campaign that will see the company recreate the tennis world’s most iconic courts.

“It would be really tremendous for me to be able to do this,” Krejcikova said on the former Twitter, now known as Platform X. Would you support it by voting?” she said. Although the campaign has so far only collected 2,000 of the required 10,000 signatures, it stands out with its small tennis net and characteristic white roof.

Krejcikova expressed her passion for LEGO in an extensive Q&A session on the X platform, describing building LEGO as her favorite activity when the games were postponed due to rain at Wimbledon. At the same time, Krejcikova became the latest WTA player to earn praise from the Danish brand, following the likes of former world No. 1 Iga Swiatek and Leylah Fernandez.
