How to dry tennis shoes in dryer?

Follow these steps to clean your tennis shoes:

  • Always start by removing the laces, as this prevents the cleaning product and brush from reaching the affected area. You can wash the laces under the tap with soap or soak them in warm water with detergent for a while.
  • Before cleaning the uppers with water, remove as much dust from the uppers as possible. You can use a suitable shoe brush for this. The brush should have a soft tip and you should do the brushing process without damaging the surface.
  • After brushing, add a little laundry detergent to the hot water and mix well. Clean the bristles of the brush you use to remove dust from the shoes and soak them in the detergent. Brush the upper and midsole with this water. You can also do this with an unused soft toothbrush or cloth.
  • After the stains are removed, wipe the upper with clear water. You can also clean the sole with detergent water.

How to dry Sports shoes?

Sports and cloth shoes are both among the types of footwear most affected by water. But don’t worry. There are drying methods for them too. Drying methods for sports and cloth shoes are quite varied. You can also wash them with peace of mind when they get dirty. Of course, you should be careful not to wash at high temperatures and long programs. The first method for wet sneakers is to hang them by their laces on a clothesline. However, we recommend that you do not do this especially in the midday heat. Because extreme heat can damage your shoes.

To dry your sports and cloth shoes, you can lower the heat settings of the blow dryers and apply them for a maximum of 15 minutes and hold them at a distance. This will provide an effective drying. However, if the shoes are excessively wet, it would be a much better method to put your shoes in a ventilated place and wait for them to dry after the blow dryer that you keep at a distance for 15 minutes. While doing these operations, if the soles of the shoes can be removed, removing them will speed up the drying process even more. Also, if you say that you cannot deal with these, you can just lean your shoes against the wall with the toe down. But the place is very important here. It must be a place with plenty of air. Otherwise, you may encounter unwanted odors in your shoes. You can also apply the paper method we mentioned in drying other types of shoes for your wet sneakers. But only a thin paper should be stuffed into the shoe. When the newspaper comes into contact with wet cloth or sneakers, it will most likely stain the inside of your shoes. Therefore, we recommend that you do not use newspaper.

You can also use fans on a low setting to dry your wet shoes. However, the application should not exceed 15-20 minutes. Even if the fan is on a low setting, it can damage the shoes for a long time. After the initial wetness is gone, the remaining moisture should be dried under natural conditions. It is also possible to dry your wet shoes by using wet shoe dryers specially produced for this situation.
